Gratitude

Dear Friends:

I want to take a moment today to express my gratitude to you. 

Thank you for reading my Joy Beat Blog. Perhaps you also receive my JOY Notes to your phone, watch the Infusion of JOY videos, listen to the Live JOY Share JOY radio program or have signed up for one of my coaching programs. However you are experiencing JOY through the work I am doing in the world, thank you for being a part of The JOY Movement.

I can’t help but take a moment to reflect on all the things I am grateful for in my life. Faith, family, friends, health, fulfilling work, clients, and a warm home are things that make the top of my list. It is so easy to get caught up in the business of life and forget to take those pauses to reflect and remind ourselves of the day to day blessings of our lives.

As you move into one of the busiest times of the year, I invite you to take a moment each day for gratitude. Here are a few of my favorite things to do for gratitude moments this time of year:

  • A minute or two before eating to name all the things I’m grateful for-including the meal before me.
  • Journaling.
  • Writing a card or note to someone letting him/her know how grateful I am for his/her presence in my life.
  • Prayer or meditation while reflecting on gratitude and blessings.
  • Arranging one special coffee or lunch each week with a friend.

Thank you for being in my life. You matter! I appreciate your presence, feedback and commitment to live, share and lead with JOY.
